A friend of the show has requested an endings guide, and so here it is!

First, before getting into the endings themselves, I need to explain the Happiness stat, as it is the main determining factor in what ending you get.  Besides choosing at which point to attempt breaking up throughout the night, this matters more than what specific combination of choices you make, so I can't exactly map out anything specific for you.

It has a minimum of 0 and maximum of 8, with three ranges inside being considered three different states:  0-2 is Upset, 3-5 is Neutral, and 6-8 is Overjoyed.  Happiness starts square in the middle at 4, and almost every dialogue choice (but not all!) will move it 1 or 2 points in either direction.  So, for example, if you pick the particularly rude response in your first choice menu, you can immediately knock the Girlfriend down to a Happiness of 2, making her Upset before you even enter the gallery!

The only thing cluing you in on where you're at in-game is the Girlfriend's different painting reaction sprites, corresponding to each state- you can only start getting endings once you're two paintings in, which should give you enough time to get your desired value.

Now to the endings themselves!

• Ending 1 - Select "[Blurt it out while her guard's down]" while in Neutral
• Ending 2 - Select "[Blurt it out while her guard's down]" while Upset
• Ending 3 - Reach or maintain a Happiness of 0 when selecting the choice "... Nah."
• Ending 4 - Have a Happiness of 0 after selecting "Nice goin'." (not giving her your water afterward, if applicable- this will increase Happiness by 1), OR select "[Do it now]" while in Upset
• Ending 5 - Select "[Do it now]" while in Neutral
• Ending 6 - Reach the end of the game while in Neutral
• Ending 7 - Reach the end of the game while in Upset
• Ending 8 - Reach the end of the game while in Overjoyed.  No, really, I promise!  Just trust me!
